Ex-library with labels on the lower spine of each volume and bookplates on the end papers. Complete with 10 reports, with 10 engraved plates. These reports of the product of an extensive tour of European agriculture by the author. He offers an honest account of what he saw so that readers may gather what they can. Colman was a Unitarian minister and agricultural writer, born in Boston in 1785, he died in England in 1849. He was well-known for his agricultural surveys of Massachusetts, made in 1837.
