Revised American Edition (as stated upon copyright page) DATED, INSCRIBED, AND SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. xiv, 186 pages. Hardcover: H 25.25cm x L 18.75cm. Dust jacket rubbed with some soiling, toning, and staining; near lengthwise tear along spine's fold with front panel; shallow chipping at spine head and front panel's adjacent left corner; 2.5cm tear with strong creasing at rear panel's lower left; other nicks, short tears, and some creasing at edges; dj now presented in a mylar Brodart protector. Green cloth lightly rubbed with light staining at lower margins of both boards; spine and front board retain vibrant gilt stamped lettering. Toning to edges and endpapers with interior leaves slightly affected at margins; a few spots of scattered foxing and soiling but interior pages overall remain clean. Author's five-line brown ink inscription boldly written across most of front free endpaper: "6/12/80 | Simpson: | Best of | everything. | Roy. F. Guste." Binding is firm.
