Light wear to extremities and occasional traces of foxing, but otherwise a very good copy. Illustrated by 2 pages of black and white photographic plates. First edition of the first volume of the Autobiography of Hungarian born British writer, Arthur Koestler (1905-83). It takes his story up to the time he joined the Communist Party in 1931.
