Book Description Brooklyn NY and Bar Harbor ME, 1898, 1898. Soft cover. Book Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Square 8vo, printed wrappers, some edge chipping, cello-tape repair to upper cover (detached), 64pp. Line drawn illustrations throughout. The text is printed in olive, with a few leaves enhanced by the makers' marks shown in red in the margins. An extra leaf is inserted inside the upper cover, describing the firm's opening of a storefront, leased on Main Street, in Bar Habor, around June 1st, presumably catering to the vacationing crowd from New York, addressing their needs for china, glass, tableware, wrought iron & brass, and such. The text comprises a generously broad view of the subject, which is combined with glosses of descriptions of the wares the company promoted and sold. A good copy. Bookseller Inventory # E-6/48
