Zwischen Titel und Vorsatz wirkt der Buchblock angeöffnet, Vorwort vom Block gelöst. Den farbigen Bildern ist jeweils ein Seidenpapier mit erklärenden Text vorgelegt. Trotz der genannten Mängel in einem durchaus noch recht ordentlichen Erhaltungszustand. Hier die etwas seltenere Ausgabe von 1957.
