Book Description Forgotten Books, United States, 2015. Paperback. Book Condition: New. 229 x 152 mm. Language: English . Brand New Book ***** Print on Demand *****.Excerpt from Abridgment of Elementary Law: Embodying the General Principles, Rules, and Definitions of Law Together With the Common Maxims and Rules of Equity Jurisprudence, Embracing the Subjects Contained in a Regular Law Course, Collected and Arranged So as to Be Easily Acquired by Students, Co So far as constitutional law goes, this edition contains a copy of the Constitution of the United States, and it would be impossible within the limited scope of a work of this character to treat this subject at greater length. The subjects of real property and criminal law are not treated separately, but will be found in the abridgment of Blackstone, real property in the second volume of Blackstone, and criminal law in the fourth. There is no lawyer who has read the textbooks on real property with care, and is familiar with Blackstone, but what will recognize that the fountain head of the law of real property is Black stones treatment of it in the second volume of his Commentaries, and that the modern text-books are but treatises based upon Blackstone with the modem developments of the law on the subject. In the present edition of Dunlap the changes introduced in the law of real property have been treated in notes appended to the abridgment of the second volume of Blackstone s Commentaries.
