There is a bookplate on the inside cover of a man who was the president of the Chicago Adventurer's club and president of a bookbindery.He had this book rebound in a full polished calf binding with five raised bands, marbled endpapers also TEG.It is signed by MacQuitty and he also had a very nice slipcase made for it which is lined with velvet. An extremely attractive and unique book. At the end of the book he had bound in a national Geographic article about Irving and Electa Johnson and their fabled trip up the nile in the Yankee, which is signed by Irving Johnson to the former owner. Also put in are pictures from the article. The book is inscribed to former owner and signed by author MacQuitty. Lovely rebind. Seller Inventory # 008136
