Description:

"First Published in the Year 1801. There you have it -- a peek into the behavior and by-ways of bygone era in early America. This copy is worn and bumped at the corners, but is surprisingly sound for a book this old. Two pages are half torn at the rear of the book, with names of some members of the Philadelphia Society missing. There are 61 numbered pages. Illustrated bookplate of original owner (George Clifford Thomas) on front pastedown. Later owner's elegant signature on first white page, with a note on the genesis of this project.
