Limited to 500 copies and printed by the Grabhorn Press, with engravings by Mallette Dean. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some light rubbing and bumping to the spine ends of the book covers. The text pages are clean and bright, though there is some toning to the endpapers. There is a previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown page, and another on the front endpaper. "Carrie Nation probably never took a drink in her life. The corner saloon must go, she would cry and, lustful as a volunteer fireman confronted by plate glass, she would hack away with her hatchet at the bottles and gilded mirrors without once having tried her foot on the brass rail for size.".
