Book Description D Bogue, 1111. Book Condition: Good. Undated circa 1860's. Bound in a red cloth, this volume has external signs of age with tone from handling over the spine and edges, some fade to the boards and bumping at the corners. The edges are rubbed as are the hinges and the heads of the spine, there is some fraying to the heads and the front hinge has some splits in the cloth top and bottom.Inside, there is some light cracking to the hinges and between a couple of gatherings giving the binding a soft feel, but it all remains secure. The gilt edging is fairly bright and the pages are generally clean with a good hand-painted frontis. Bookseller Inventory # 9999-9994452650
