Contents otherwise clean, binding secure. 20 pp. A brief message, from Secretary of State John Quincy Adams to the House of Representatives, with accompanying correspondence with British counterparts for amplification, on remaining issues still unresolved dating from the Treaty of Ghent. Much is related to certain contentions regarding fisheries, but of prticular interest is correspondence regarding return of or restitution for slaves carried away from their owners during the British military evacuation of occupied United States territory after the signing of the Treaty.
