Brenda grew up on an Illinois farm in the same township that many of her ancestors help to settle, and accepted Jesus Christ while in her mid-teens. She attended local schools, received an Associates Degree in Accounting at Illinois Commercial College and is currently the church secretarytreasurer in her local non-denominational church. An avid student of genealogy and local history, Brenda developed a knack for writing in high school as editor of the school newspaper and, in later years, from writing training manuals, newsletters, booklets, etc. , and as a contributing historical writer for a local newspaper. Brendas foremost goal in life has been to pursue a life of integrity and biblical morals that would bring glory to God and gives Him the credit for all good things in her life.
