About this title

Synopsis:

Faithful Fraser, the yellow dog, is ten-year-old Courtney's best friend. The story is set on Snowmass Mountain and follows Courtney and her friends skiing after a huge snowfall. Fraser is not allowed and has to stay at the bottom of the mountain. The girls tackle, "The Wall," the most difficult run on the mountain. Courtney chooses to ski a different path and is caught in a snow slide. Fraser senses trouble and saves Courtney.

From the Author:

Adventures of Fraser the Yellow Dog, Rescue on Snowmass Mountain is the first in a series of 8 books about the amazing Fraser the yellow dog from Aspen.

This is a winter adventure that takes Jill's real daughter, Courtney and friends, Aime, Taylor and Katy to Snowmass Mountain for a day of skiing powder. Fraser can't come because dogs aren't allowed so he waits patiently at the bottom for the girls to finish.

After lunch, the girls ski Hanging Valley Wall, the hardest run on Snowmass Mountain and without warning, Courtney is caught in a snow slide. Find out how Fraser comes to the rescue.

Since this was my first children's book, I had a ball writing and editing it. I learned so much along the way. My favorite thing was to go into schools and libraries and read my story to the children and see how much they loved it.
