About this Item

Very light corner wear. This copy is close to N F. ; B&W and Color Photographs; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 41 pages; This book is a biography and study of George Ohr, The Mad Potter of Biloxi. It was written in conjunction with the exhibition at Kurland-Zabar in association with David Rago Arts and Crafts. There is not much publication information on the copyright page so I am guessing at printing and edition, though there is nothing to suggest this is not a first. The book has beautiful color photos of much Ohr pottery as well as many historic black and white photos of Ohr and his workshops. Great information on an elusive artist. Bookseller Inventory # 6160
