Green cloth in unclipped jacket. 281 pp. Text in Cyrillic/Russian and English. The first English translation of this collection of poems by Marina Tszetaeva, written in Berlin and Prague between 1922 and 1925. Marina Tsvetaeva was an early 20th century Russian poet, noted for her experimental linguistic forms that she used to chronicle the upheavals in Russian society in the early to mid 1900s. FAIR jacket on a VERY GOOD book. Several very large tears to the front jacket, repaired on the reverse with paper and tape, in a somewhat haphazard manner. Moderate fading, scuffing and some soiling. Extremities scuffed and worn. Minor staining to the jacket. Light fading and edgewear to the book. Slight cocking to the spine. Owner's signature on the inside front cover.
