About this Item

Entire issue, August, 1936, in original, colorful, pictorial wraps, moderate general wear, occasional creasing, a few cosmetic touch-ups noted, a few pages missing, not affecting the Fitzgerald piece. From the opening paragraph, "When he woke up he felt better than he had for many weeks, a fact that became plain to him negatively--he did not feel ill. He leaned for a moment against the door frame between his bedroom and bath till he could be sure he was not dizzy. Not a bit, not even when he stooped for a slipper under the bed." This issue is generally difficult to obtain as it includes the Hemingway masterpiece, The Snows Of Kilimanjaro, which has been removed from this copy. Housed in archival bag with stiff backing.
