Mark Abell earned a Bachelors and Masters degree from Texas A&M University, and is a successful businessman and author. Previous works include Making the Grade at A&M, the predecessor to the current popular work Aggie Academics 101. Since graduating with a BBA and MBA from A&M, Mark has worked in corporate America as well as having owned and operated private businesses.

Through it all, he has always maintained a passion for Aggieland and a desire to share his experiences with new Aggies. He considers it an honor to have the opportunity to help up and coming Aggies begin their career at A&M on a solid footing, avoiding the pitfalls commonly encountered.

Mark is proud to come from an extended family of Aggies. His mother, both grandfathers, brother, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles have attended Texas A&M. As a life member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas, Mark is equally proud of his Texas heritage.
