Book Description Humphrey Milford, London, 1922. Cloth Bound. Book Condition: Very Good+. Cecil Aldin (illustrator). 1st Edition. A charming book by the great illustrator, and one of his rarer titles, especially in this first edition. The yellow hardback cloth binding is very attractive, with a child and dog and the title in black on the front cover and the titles in black on the spine. Binding in very good condition with only light wear and a couple of trivial marks. The text is in fine, tight, clean condition with almost zero foxing. The front and rear inner hinges have been neatly strengthened with clear conservation tape. Text drawings plus excellent coloured plates on tinted paper (one with small, neat edge repair).
