About this title

Synopsis:

Eighteen years before the fall of the Moorish Caliphate of al-Andalus, centered at the Alhambra fortress overlooking the city of Granada, a bastard Prince was born into the Royal Family. The circumstances of his birth remained a mystery during his formative years, while he developed an affinity for art and beautiful objects. And when the time came for him to choose a sanctioned Royal profession, he stood his ground in order that he might follow his heart. In the years which followed, he would encounter the chaos that engulfed Spain after the last Moorish ruler of al-Andalus relinquished power to the Catholic Rulers - Ferdinand and Isabella. They were years of terror, with Muslims, Jews, and apostate/heretical Christians hunted down by the infamous Spanish Inquisition. And like many others during those tumultuous times, this bastard Prince would not be able to avoid being caught up in the resulting maelstrom.
