DJ spine is chipped and missing a small piece from bottom and tiny chips at top end. Back panel, printed on cream paper, is slightly soiled from 63 years of handling. DJ is now in clear, Brodart archival-quality jacket (easily removable). Near Fine Book is Fresh, immaculate with only markings being a neat, dated prior owner signature on FFEP. Copy is otherwise completely unmarked: there are no bookseller marks or stickers; no x-library detritus; no gift inscriptions, bookplates, notes, underlining or other markings. Brown paper-covered boards with yellow cloth spine. Text block is tight and square. Spine titles and design are impeccable: spine straight with no leaning or cocking and slight humping and wear at ends. Binding is sturdy. Corners are pointed and show no wear. Pages are clean, crisp, bright and completely unmarked. There is a trace of age toning at endpapers There are no soiled, missing, loose, creased or damaged pages.
