Eight very clean magazines spanning 1961-1964, each measuring 5-3/4"x9", very simply made with plain brown wraps, the backs of which are printed as mailing labels with the recipient's name and address visible. Some toning to edges of wraps and one small chip at bottom front corner of one issue. Published quarterly for members of the Allen County Historical Society. Available issues include: Nos. 3&4, 1961; Nos. 1&3, 1962; Nos. 1, 3, & 4. 1963 and No. 1, 1964. Among the topics covered are: Sadie Dickerson Musser; the Lima Federation of Womens' Clubs history (two-parter in two issues, both with writing by previous owner, who added additional facts); buffalo trails, stagecoach routes and the Anthony Wayne trace; early life in Allen County; early social life of Lima; the paper mill well in two parts (again, additional info written by former owner); and the story of Deep Cut.
