Book Description U.S.A.: Privately published, 1992. Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. John Spalding was the author of three books on baseball in the Sacramento, Ca. area, all of which are difficult to find. This is the hard back edition, probably the hardest of the three books to find. Has a dark blue cover which has old baseball cards on the front and rear. The cover is still bright but is rubbed, the corners are rubbed, the spine has little to no sunning. Has a brief inscription on the first page from a prior owner, dated 12-93. This was a very professional printing of a self-published book. Spalding is a fine baseball historian, especially on baseball in Northern California. The interior of the book is in very good condition. I have hundreds of books on the minor leagues in stock. Discounts are available on multiple purchases. Seller Inventory # ABE-5313014652386819966
