A wonderfully tight, clean and handsome copy of #1459 in "The Better Little Book" series. Rarely are these seen in as fresh and bright a condition as this beauty, which is truly as good as it gets. Whitman does NOT indicate edition in any verifiable manner. Lantz (1899-1994) was a prolific, innovative cartoonist, director and producer best known for creating "Woody Woodpecker.".
