About the Author:

Arose N Daghetto is a self-proclaimed Hip Hop Poetess who was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. She is the youngest of five brothers and sisters. Besides writing and performing her poetry, Arose likes to write fiction, inspirational books, sing and compose music. Arose is also a former playwright whose 1993 play, "Let My People Free" was performed at Rites and Reasons Theater at Brown University. At 17 years old, Arose made local history being the youngest of four winners selected in a national playwrights contest held by the Ivy League multicultural theater. When Arose is not writing or entertaining, she enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys inspiring people and helping them achieve their dreams. Arose is currently working on her first novel and a small series of inspirational books aimed to help empower and heal people living in inner city communities throughout the nation.
