Boards rubbed; light scuffing at spine tips, along joints and edges of boards. Title page toned, and lightly chipped along the edges, with early ownership signature along top margin; third leaf (first page of text) detached, laid-in; early manuscript leaf tipped-in (at fol. 22). Bookplate of the New York City Bar Association. Covers regnal years 1326-1335, Edward III. With an index of cases, side-notes and cross-references. Edward's long reign of fifty years saw vital developments in legislation and government, in particular the evolution of the English parliament.
