Rebound in full calf, new endpapers, age toned, chipped at edges, scattered dampstains, trimmed a bit close at top touching the running title, title laid down. Still good overall. (12), 415 leaves. Lacking blanks but otherwise complete. Rare second edition of a work first published in 1609 - only about a dozen copies of each in OCLC, none in the auction record. Brightman believed he was divinely inspired when he wrote this exegesis on the Book of Revelation and it and the subsequent translation into English (1611 and another edition in 1615) proved influential on millenarian puritanical thought throughout the 17th century.
