An incomplete group which includes the following issues: January, February, July, October of 1874; April, August, September of 1875. With three engraved frontispiece illustrations. An uncommon periodical devoted to yachting, rowing, swimming and aquatic sports, focused on the New York area. With a wealth of information about late nineteenth century aquatic sport culture. The magazine began in 1872, was suspended in 1876-1878, and then eventually became Brentano's Monthly in 1880, with a wider scope.
