Ken Friedman, The Art Division of The Oakland Museum, The Artist/Oakland Museum, Oakland, 1972. 148 x 113mm folding card, embossed frame front with black printed text announcing the closing of a one-year exhibition where the artists works have been sealed in a subterranean vault and will remain part of the permanent collection of The Oakland Museum. Friedman later talked about this concept and the invitation in an issue of Art and Artists magazine in 1973. Minor handling mark to right hand edge of front page. Overall: very good +/ near fine, complete with tissue overlay for the embossed text front, in envelope.
