Ashaway, Rhode Island. Ashaway Line and Twine Manufacturing Company. 1938. Octavo (7 x 5 1/2). 30 pp. Catalogue Number 14. With Ashaway President A. J. Crandall's invitation to use Ashaway Lines because they are the world's best fishing line. With a photo showing Zane Grey horsing in another sea monster. A. N. Wolverton with a 127 pound Mexican ray caught at Campbell River, British Columbia. Other well-known anglers shown with their catches, all taken on Ashaway lines. Many illustrations showing a large variety of Ashaway lines with descriptions for each line. Scarce as are all Ashaway catalogues. The catalogue is bound in its original color pictorial wrappers with red titles. A clean, bright, very good catalogue.
