About this Item

Norwegian language. Bound in gray cloth with titles and decorations stamped in gilt. Corresponding 1911 dates to the title and copyright pages; no additional printings. 230 pages, with two photographs. Decorated endpapers; all edges marbled. Bergliot Ibsen was Bjornson's daughter, who married Henrik Ibsen's son Sigurd. The letters here, received at her home at Aulestad, Norway, were written between 1887 and 1890. This copy has light bumps at the heel and upper rear corner, but is otherwise fine.
