First edition, later issue (with adverts on verso of half title listing "The Rogue Elephant" last in "The Boy's Big Game Series" . Only the 1906 date appears on the copyright page. Octavo in light tan cloth lettyrede abd decorated in green and violet and with oval tipped on color illustration of the title characters at ship's rail. 347 pp. two pp. of adverts at rear including one for two L. Frank Baum titles "Books for Older Children". A tight , very good or a bit better example, minor wear at the head edge of the spine. "Edith Van Dyne" was one of the pseudonyms (in this case used for the "Aunt Jane" series) used by L. Frank Baum for his non-Oz books. Bookseller Inventory # E12910B
