About this title

Synopsis:

Aunt Killer is a fast moving suspense novel that will chill you, even on the hottest beach. With her memory failing, ill with viral encephalitis, and injured in an attempt on her life, a woman flees Ohio. After finding her sleeping on a Florida sand dune, an ex-Secret Service agent reconstructs her recent past and both must face the killer. Although a thousand miles separates Mansfield, Ohio and Daytona Beach, Florida, fate joins them and twists two lives together. The novel's cover photo of an empty beach, graceful sand dunes, and the distant ocean will make you want to step into the scene. Likewise as you flip the pages, you will be drawn into the drama with the characters and experience a strange illness that boarders on psychotic at times. But more that a killer virus stalks Eva Johnson and even an ex-Secret Service agent is put to the test.

About the Author:

As a child, Jeneva Johns lived in Daytona Beach, Florida where her parents owned motels along the ocean. After graduating from college in Ohio, Jeneva returned to Florida to teach art in Palatka while she lived at the beach in St. Augustine, Florida. Jeneva earned a B.S. degree in art education from Bolwing Green State University in Ohio; an A.B. in accounting and an A.B. degree in computer science from North Central State College, Mansfield, Ohio; and a M.B.A. from Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. In August 1997, Jeneva contracted viral enceplalitis, a near death experience that altered her life. Bed ridden, she created stories to pass the long hours recovering. Writing became her therapy to reconstruct her short-term memory that had been fried by the virus. When her strength premitted, Jeneva studied fiction writing at the Ohio State University, Mansfield campus and with the Writer's Digest School. An avid researcher and long time scholar, she is creating a new career in writing.
