This is a biographical scrapbook compiled by Maud Curlett Chesney, born in Topeka, Kansas on Dec. 26, 1874, the daughter of A. F. Chesney, and grand-daughter of Isaac Atkinson of Marietta. The text is done in rhyme, and is illustrated with magazine clippings and some family photographs, especially of Maud at different ages. Additional photos of her husband Percy Allen Capps, 1876-1973, who was born in Mount Pulaski, Illinois, who Maud married on Dec. 28, 1898. The scrapbook ends with the birth of her first child in 1899. 20 clean pages, with chipping to the front paper cover. Measures about 10-1/2 inches by 12-1/2 inches oblong.
