Autograph letter signed by Florence Taber Holt (1858-1947), the second wife of publisher Henry Holt (1840-1926) and an author and editor in her own right. They were married in 1886 and has four children. A one page letter in ink (5 1/2 x 7 inch) dated October 25th, 1938. In this letter to a family friend ("Mr Wheeler") she writes that her late husband "wrote as he spoke, right from his heart". Fine clean copy. Bookseller Inventory # 14689
