Moctezuma writes to Pizarro Mart?nez, the Mexican consul in New Orleans, that after having seen Pizarro that morning, he received a letter from their mutual friend Mr. Parrot enclosing a letter for Sr. Risquero that was to be entrusted to Pizarro. Moctezuma is further instructed by Parrot to say that Mr. Plate has promised to pay the money owed to Risquero as soon as some bills are collected.
