Handwritten letter dated May 30, 1873 from Boston, Massachusetts. 1 page, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. John Townsend Trowbridge (1827-1916) was an American novelist and poet. From 1870-1873, he was co-editor of "Our Young Folks", a literary periodical aimed at the juvenile reader. This letter is on "Our Young Folks" letterhead.
