Two pages. In black ink. 5 x 6 1/4 inches. In this brief letter to a Mr. David D. Nye of the Town of Borurne, Mass., Jefferson sends along a "petition which he had earlier discussed with Nye". He also asks what his taxes for the year are going to be. Jefferson (b. 1829, d. 1905) was an American actor. His most famous role was that of Rip Van Winkle (1865 and after) in the play by the same name written by Dion Boucicault. Bookseller Inventory # 13933
