Typewritten letter dated April 18, 1973. 1 page, 8 1/2 x 11 inches with stamped and postmarked envelope. Signed "Phil". Fold lines on letter, envelope shows evidence of being opened but otherwise in excellent condition. Philip Jose Farmer (1918-2009) was an award-winning Science Fiction and Fantasy author, most famous for his "World of Tiers" and "Riverworld" series. This letter is directed to William "Bill" Dutcher, editor of the Jasoomian Magazine, a fan magazine for admirers of Edgar Rice Burroughs. In the letter he thanks Mr. Dutcher for the issue, compliments some of the articles, and promises to pay as soon as he can. Bookseller Inventory # 016350
