Autograph signature, on white cardstock; Baruj Benacerraf (b. 1920) of Spanish-Jewish ancestry and originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Benacerraf became a physician in the U.S. and an American citizen, and after research in France and New York, initiated the studies in Immunogenetics which, along with two others (Jean Dausset & George D. Snell), garnered him the Nobel prize, according to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
