Holograph letter written in ink on Syracuse, New York motel letterhead. No date. 37 lines on the front and back of the sheet, signed "Much love, Betty". The recipient, Ed, is unknown. Folded for mailing, else nice condition. (No envelope.) The text includes complaints about fellow actors in a production of Hamlet she is performing in ("We've got a Hamlet doing Henry. Just awful!") She also refers to actress and singer Kaye Stevens, stating "When I see her on TV she acts like a pain in the neck." The photo images each measures 9.75" x 8". All are black & white. All are in VG+ condition or better; three have margin notes in ink. All but one are later prints. Six of the images show Betty in character; three show her in candid settings. Grable was celebrated for having the most beautiful legs in Hollywood. Her iconic bathing suit poster made her the number-one pin-up girl of the World War II era.
