About this Item

The world of Badger's Wood was envisioned by the author as an "instinctive dream world" where he escaped during his service in World War II. A lighthearted fantasy, expertly illustrated in line drawings. 148 pp. Selection of Parents' Magazine's Book Club for Children. Moderate sunning to spine and 1.5 inches along the entire perimeter of front and rear boards. Light bumps to bottom corners on front and rear boards, with a very light bump to the upper corner of the front board. Very minor shelfwear to bottom edge of front and rear boards. Crisp, clean and tight. DJ archivally protected. Some very light edgewear to DJ, with light creasing but no chips or tears. Light rubbing to front DJ panel. Very light soiling to rear DJ panel. See also our listing for another delightful Elleston Trevor title called Badger's Beech. (My own all-time favorite is the scarcity called DEEP WOOD. VERY GOOD PLUS in very good plus dustjacket.
