About this title

Synopsis:

Beluga Stein is back--with her signature loud muumuus, pastel cigarettes, and her hit-or-miss psychic ability. Beluga and her feline familiar, Planchette, are ready for their close-ups. Or are they? This time she's called to investigate paranormal activities and other strange events on the set of a low budget horror movie. But after a fire mysteriously erupts on the set, an actor dressed in a bee costume is found hoisted high in the air by a crane--dead. Is the set haunted, or are the supernatural stirrings and death the result of special effects? Beluga and Planchette are on the scene, from the dark screening room to the scary set itself as reluctant members of the cast. But even a bit part on this film could be murder.

About the Author:

Wendy Webb is an author of short stories, novels and stage plays. This is the second book in the Beluga Stein mystery series. She and her husband live in Georgia with two dogs and two cats, and there's still no sign any of them are pyschic.
