Lee (renamed Kevork when he became a priest] received a Bachelor in Theology in 1934 as a member of the Armenian Apostolic Church. For a time he left the faith and pursued a career in the oil industry and international trade in Canada. in 1945 he returned to his studies and in 1946was called to Los Angeles and ordained priest and rector of the Saint James Armenian Church. Among other things, this book recounts his struggle with the hiearchy of his church and his defrocking as a priest.
