About this Item

Texas author's third book, second hardback, about Blessed McGill, a frontier man, scalphunter, buffalo-shooter, gold seeker, gambler, A story of love and adventure, murder and revenge, bandits and priests, written with high humor and irony. It is Shrake's highlight of all his novels. Tightly bound copy, no hinge problems, no names or other markings, a stated first edition, with a touch of wear at its extremities, the spine ends and corners, but no real fraying. The DJ comes from an ex-library book and thus has a square near the bottom of the spine indicating where the Dewey Decimal label was removed. The jacket is not price clipped, shows minor edgewear and two tiny chips and some surface scratches, but looks much better than it sounds, actually clean and bright in a mylar sleeve. Pricing is discounted due to jacket flaws. Texas residents will need to add 8.25% sales tax to total. Bookseller Inventory # 002881
