Condition of the book his Very Good; light stain on lower half of spine extending slightly to rear joint and cover, very light foxing to endpapers, text is very clean, binding is tight. Included with this book is an endpaper detached from another book of a smaller size (5 X 7 3/4") on watermarked Japan paper, which is inscribed "for Jan from Julia.", The signature matches that on the limitation page of the book. Also included is a newspaper clipping from Sunday, April 10, 1932 with a photograph of Julia Peterkin with the caption "An author goes on the stage: Julia Peterkin, Pulitzer Prize winner as she appeared in the title role of Ibsen's Hedda Gabler given in the Little Theater in Columbia S.C."
