Signed by Cottonseed Clark on the front cover, along with nine other notable Hill Billy musicians also signing, including Cal Smith, Rocky Arnold, Roy Horn, Wayne Raney and Jerri Jones, who was a regular on Clark's California Hayride radio show. Cottonseed Clark (born Clark Fulks) was born in Texas and came to California where he was master of ceremonies and writer for a weekly CBS radio show called "Cottonseed Clark's Hollywood Barn Dance." He also wrote radio skits for Gene Autry and the Andrews sisters. In 1952 he created, produced and wrote for the "California Hay Ride," which featured country and hill billy music.
