About this title

Synopsis:

What can your baby learn from you? Plenty, according to occupational, speech, and physical therapists Nancy French, Deb Habenicht, and Jayne Sconzert. Their Babies DO Come with a Manual provides parents, teachers, and caregivers with a how-to approach for building strong foundational skills with lifetime benefits for children from birth to five years. Given the fact that over the past two decades, professionals have been observing a general decline of children's physical and communicative fitness, you can use this easy-to-read guide to empower yourself and raise a healthy family. Learn how to guide your child's meaningful sensory and social interactions and stimulate effective communication. Babies DO Come with a Manual includes chronological sections with developmental guidelines, simple activities, and opportunities for note taking. By doing these activities with your children, you can help develop important language, motor, sensory, visual, cognitive, and social skills. And you will learn about both the beneficial and harmful effects of technology in our modern age, where parenting is an increasing challenge.
