114 p. plus Table des Matieres plus five paes of advertisements of garden businesses. This is a history, tour, and detailed description of a famous garden. It has fourteen plates at the rear of the book, plus a number of drawings, and a fold-out map of the garden using black and red print to show the garden at the time the book was published and as it was in 1770. Maroon cloth spine with gilt title, beautiful marbled boards fine but for a library call number on the front that has been painted out with maroon paint and that is barely noticeable; inside is the original pretty illustrated red paper cover. Perforated library ownership on the title page and a stamp on the last page, otherwise the book is fine. In French. Bookseller Inventory # 103113JF
