About this Item

A presentation copy from the photographer who made a cinema film, apparently in black and white since this book of photographs is such, in 1951 titled "Bali, Island of Gods". The presentation inscription is next to the photograph of the artist on page 3. The text bloc is clean, tight and unmarked. The boards are sunned along the edges and down the spine, where there is also some wear at the crown and base. The dj is brodarted, a necessity as there are several chips missing at the corners and along the edges; especially, however, half of the spine is missing: an inch and a half of the top and about 3 1/2" of the base. From the back cover at the bottom next to the spine there is piece missing that extends about 2" from the spine and an inch from the base. The photographs are wonderful.
