A Baroque "Ballet" or dance festival book. Title includes printed dedication to "Herr Julius Frantz, Hertzogen zu Sachsen/ Engern und Westphaln. " and his wife "Frawen Maria Hedwig Augusta" as well as a note on the first performance, which took place in Wolfenbüttel "auf dem fürstl[ichen] Residentz-Hause" on December 8, 1671.Wrappers somewhat worn and rubbed; creased at lower outer corner. Occasional minor creasing; small stain to blank outer margins of some leaves; several leaves slightly wormed at upper outer corner, not affecting text. A very good copy overall.
